About
At Zouki’s, we celebrate the timeless traditions of Lebanese cuisine by combining bold flavors with a modern twist.
George Zouki: A Culinary Legacy
George Zouki, born in Lebanon, began working as a butcher at age 12, honing skills that shaped his future in the food industry. Fleeing civil war in the 1980s, he immigrated with his family, bringing his love for Lebanese cuisine.
Noticing a lack of authentic Lebanese food in his new home, he introduced traditional shawarma, dedicating himself to perfecting the recipe. In 1996, he opened the first Zouki’s restaurant. His focus on quality and authenticity built a loyal customer base, turning a single restaurant into a recognized brand.
George’s journey is a story of perseverance and passion, leaving behind a culinary legacy that continues through his family and community.
Every dish we serve is prepared with care, from our perfectly spiced shawarma to our homemade hummus and fresh tabbouleh.
